Old Adventures . . . at El Mokattam Mountain
On my travels in Egypt in 2006, we visited the El Mokattam mountain near Cairo, where there is a monastery carved out of the mountain. The Coptic christians believe that the mountain moved when the people prayed with faith for it to happen and it did. In the Bible it says, "if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there,' and it will move." (Matthew 17v20 NIV), which is part of the evidence for this miracle occuring. (More can be read about this miracle at Samaan Church website)
